Burning Jealousy (Japanese:しっとのほのおFlames of Jealousy) is a damage-dealingFire-typemove introduced duringGeneration VIII, inThe Isle of Armor. It isTM195 inPokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Effect

Burning Jealousy inflicts damage to all adjacent opponents and willburn any opponent that has increased its stats during that turn. It ignores stat increases fromImposter when determining whether to burn an opponent.

If the target is weak to Burning Jealousy and is holding aWeakness Policy, determining whether to burn an opponent happens before consuming the Weakness Policy.

If the user hasSheer Force, then the power boost is applied regardless of whether it would have burnt the target or not.
