Bullet Seed inflicts damage, hitting the target 2-5 times per use. Each hit has a separate accuracy check, though the move will continue even when a hit fails. The move's critical-hit rate is reduced (2% in the Rescue Team, Explorers and Adventure Squad series).

Prior toGates to Infinity, if a targeted Pokémon faints in middle of the attack, the remaining projectiles will be able to hit a new target. Starting inSuper Mystery Dungeon, if aReviver Seed activates, the move will end.
