- Not feature a Trainer's Pokémon other thanAsh's Pikachu.
- This is the first dub opening to feature a duet, though the first Japanese opening to do so wasHigh Touch!.
- However, if movie songs are counted,Pokémon World is the first dub opening to feature a duet.
- Unlike inBest Wishes!, all of the Pokémon are revealed in full color, not in silhouetted forms. Due to this, numerous Pokémon that were not known to American audiences were leaked before thegame release.
- Some of the lyrics are different in the corresponding lines of the TV size and full versions. The TV size version says "Hard to makenew friends" and "It's notabout win or lose, it's thepath you choose", when the full version says "Hard to makeamends" and "It's notalways win or lose, it's theroad you choose".
- A remixed version of Black and White was played as background music inOshawott's Lost Scalchop! andReunion Battles In Nimbasa!. An instrumental version was also used inBattle for the Underground!.
- According to John Loeffler, he intended to reuse this dub opening forPokémon: BW Rival Destinies, possibly with a new singer and arrangement, butThe Pokémon Company International wanted a new song for the following season.[1]
