After rescuing the Pokémon inWish Park's Cake Zone,Pikachu andOshawott make their way to the Arbor Area. Here, they see that the chaos has yet to strike the Area, and overhear that the Area Keeper, QueenSerperior, is having a Berry Party. The pair then meetsSnivy who takes immediate interest in their investigation and leaves. Oshawott and Pikachu then find a poster much like the one in theCove Area withZorua standing beside it, saying that his friend went to Wish Park and hasn't returned. A portion of the poster is ripped and Snivy, who returns to the pair and decides to help them for a bit, suggests that they speak toWhimsicott.

When the pair finds Whimsicott, she then tells them that she gave the poster piece to Queen Serperior and she is in Verdant Court, but the pair first needs to passBisharp, who is guarding the road to Verdant Court. When the pair meets Bisharp, he initially does not allow them to pass, until Snivy, who comes to help the pair again, reappears and tells Bisharp that they are her friends, and Bisharp refers to her as "Princess Snivy" before the pair and Snivy go to Verdant Court.

The pair and Snivy arrive in Verdant Court and immediately meet with Queen Serperior. She explains that she already sentDeerling to deliver the invitation, but Snivy then leaves to go somewhere else to play, much to the queen's dismay. The two then meet up with Deerling and Snivy, and then Deerling reveals to the two that she stashed the poster piece in the stump. Snivy then volunteers to accompany Pikachu and Oshawott during their investigation and the trio then goes in the stump to collect the missing poster piece.

After collecting the missing poster piece, the trio returns to the damaged Poster Portal to repair it, but then Bisharp and fourPawniard arrive to challenge the trio to a battle, because they accuse Pikachu and Oshawott for trying to kidnap Snivy. Upon the trio's victory, Snivy then clears up the misunderstanding, and so Bisharp and the Pawniard then apologizes to the trio. Zorua, who returns to seek the trio's help, then explains that his friendZoroark was the one taking Pokémon to Wish Park, but then she went to save them after learning of the hazards of Wish Park, and hasn't returned. They then allow Zorua to join them in Wish Park to save the Pokémon and Zoroark. After making enough friends, the group works together with the friends they made to wish for the portal to open, allowing the group to enter Wish Park.

After bringing every Pokémon stuck in Wish Park's Dance Zone back to the Arbor Area, the trio, Zorua, and Zoroark, who they also rescued, return to Windmill Way, with Queen Serperior already there waiting for them. She thanks them for their heroic actions, but Pikachu then tells everyone around him that he learned of the Dark Vortex appearing, much to everyone's shocks and confusions. Zoroark then suddenly interrupts by telling everyone thatGothitelle and her goons are attempting to befriend theCrag Area's Pokémon, and so the trio goes to the Crag Area as their next destination.

When the pair once again goes to Verdant Court to meet the amnesiac Snivy, they have a chase, which restores her memory.

When the gang begins to find a way to save Darkrai from the Dark Vortex and decides to ask the Area Keepers for help, Queen Serperior reveals the way to contactReshiram is to gather at least 20Vast White Quills and take them to a dais in theArcane Area.
