Effect

The Amulet Coin doubles the amount ofprize money received after battle if the holder takes part in the battle. It also doubles the number of coins picked up fromPay Day,G-Max Gold Rush, andMake It Rain. InPokémon Colosseum's Story Mode andPokémon XD's colosseums, this bonus can be applied to the prize money earned after clearing a set.

InPokémon Ruby and Sapphire only, due toa minor glitch, when collecting money dropped by Pay Day, the amount displayed will be incorrect if it was boosted by an Amulet Coin (the correct amount will still be obtained).

Amulet Coin does not stack withLuck Incense or other Amulet Coins; however, it does stack withHappy Hour,Prize Money Power, andRoto Prize Money.

Once the Pokémon has participated in battle while holding it, it takes effect; it is unaffected byKlutz and takes effect even if the holding Pokémon faints or the Amulet Coin is removed or negated.
