TheAmorphous Egg Group (Japanese:不定形グループIndeterminate Group), known prior toPokémon Diamond and Pearl as theIndeterminate Egg Group, is one of the fifteenEgg Groups. As ofGeneration IX, 63 Pokémon belong to this group.
Characteristics
Most Pokémon in this Egg Group are shapeless and the name reflects this. Its many members are based on a variety of things such as gases, blobs, inanimate objects, and soft-bodied organisms. Most are capable of floating off the ground. Many of its members areGhost-type Pokémon.
Prior toGeneration VIII, theRalts family was exclusive to the Amorphous Egg Group. It is now also in theHuman-Like group.
