Route 15 (Japanese:15番水道Sea Route 15) is aroute onAlola'sUla'ula Island connectingRoute 16 andTapu Village. It houses theAether House.
Route description
Route 15 is a route consisting mostly of water and small islands. Due to the rocks littering the route,RideSharpedo is required to fully explore the area, which can be provided to theplayer byGrimsley, a former member of theUnovaregion'sElite Four. InPokémon Sun and Moon, one of the islands has a construction site on it. InPokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the same spot now houses aMantine Surf Association building. Also in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the player briefly encountersGuzma here duringMina'strial.

Special encounters
Pokémon Ultra Moon
On the northern shore of Route 15, the player can find a young boy building a sandcastle. If the player volunteers to help him, the sandcastle will be revealed to be aSandygast possessing the boy and attack the player. After the Sandygast is caught, defeated, or fled from, it will leave behind a pouch ofStardust. It is coded to never beShiny.
