Effect

Generations III-V

Air Cutter deals damage and has an increasedcritical hit ratio. It hits both opponents in aDouble Battle and all opposing adjacent Pokémon inTriple Battles. Air Cutter's odds of landing critical hits is calculated for each hit opponent individually.

Generation VI onwards

Air Cutter's power changed from 55 to 60. InHorde Encounters, it will target all opponents. Air Cutter will also knock downBerries growing onBerry trees found in the background ofbattles. If used by a Pokémon withSharpness, its power is increased by 50%.
