Joseph Whelan, a native of Hamburg, was the overall winner of the longest consecutively run footrace in the world, finishing the race in 24:26. The fastest female was Danielle Orie of Orchard Park, who crossed the finish line at 27:29.

Two elderly residents of a group home in Derby recently discovered they were long-lost siblings.
