FIGHT KNIGHT (2017 Kickstarter demo)

A downloadable game for Windows

FIGHT KNIGHT is a mix between a first person dungeon crawler and a high speed action game. Players spend their time ascending a massive Tower, learning the story of FIGHT KNIGHT and getting to know friend & foe alike. Along the way they'll solve puzzles, collect artifacts and help FIGHT KNIGHT grow in power. Encounters take place in real time, through grid based melee combat. Wits and reflexes pave the way to victory. Will YOU master the Tower and those who wait within?

This is the DEMO for FIGHT KNIGHT, a game currently undergoing development. If you'd like to learn more or possibly support said development, please check out our new  KICKSTARTER! :D

keyboard Controls:

ESCAPE = pause

ARROWS or WASD = move

Q, E or X, C = sidestep

SPACEBAR = punch

SHIFT = map & block

CTRL = special


Xinput controllers are also supported! controller controls:

dpad/left stick = move

L2,R2 = sidestep

A, L1, R1 = punch

B = map & block

Y = special

Install instructions

ENGLISH PLAYERS: please download "FIGHTKNIGHTVKS17_ENG.zip"

Extract the files from the .zip file  into a folder and execute fightknight.exe

"FIGHTKNIGHT_vks_archive.7z" contains all 16 previous versions of the KS demo, uploaded here for archival/curiosity purposes.

Awesome Demo, can't believe that I'm only now hearing about this game, will be sure to have this on the list of games to purchase when I have the cash and play through it in it's entirety. 

No hate since I got this on steam and loved it but why didn't you make the full version available on itch.io?

I too would like an itch version, DRM free and giving a larger share of the price to the creator is a winning combo for me. 

This was a unique experience and I Loved It.  I am definitely gonna look into getting this on Steam.  Had a really good time.

i got the same error

best game ive played in a whil

try the ultra kill game on here its very fun and kinda like this one

The amount of originality in this game surprised me, I thought It was just going to be a remix of doom, except this is way different, the gameplay mechanics, artstyle is fantastic, and Hella fun.

Hirohiko Araki would be proud

it`s like doom if it was an RPG and berserk mode was always active

This game is like your typical RPG character just gave up on weaponry and decided that fists are the way to go. I LOVE IT.

Edit: The fact that you simply subverted expectations at the very beginning tells me that this game is going to be absurdly amazing. You grab the blade, I'm like "Woah I actually get a weapon?" and then the Fight Knight shatters it. Classic Expectation Subversion.

Can i play with xbox controller?

FIGHT KNIGHT!!! seriously though that was a pretty unique game i enjoyed it a lot!

how can i play games what i download

you need to unzip the game into a folder with all the other files.

if you take the game out of the folder it wont work

it is in Japanese how do i change language

there is a download called "FIGHTKNIGHTVKS17_ENG.zip" wich is the game in english

you downloaded the Japanese file

I just discovered this, and I had an absolute blast playing the demo.  I can't wait for the release.

Good combat, love the animations and the camera movement, but walking is realy tiresome and annoying.

Its based on a grid because its an RPG, but i agree with you.

Yes, but Covid slowed down the progress for now.

This looks really fun, and I love Silker's music in for this game, but I have a Mac, and none of the files will open for me.  Mac version anytime?

I really enjoyed the demo for this game, and can't wait for more! I may be a little late to the party too, but I did a video on the game as well!
