Summary[]

Asta andYuno manages to defeat the elves, both to the shock ofMimosa Vermillion andRhya. Rhya thinks about Asta is problematic, but that Yuno's magic power has increased after his reincarnation. Rhya also thinks about how this makes Yuno even more troublesome since he has not awakened yet.^[1]

Licht seeing that the two elves have been defeated and remembers when all the elves were killed. Licht quickly catches both elves, which Yuno thinks about how Licht's mana is so dense that he is just floating in the air without the use of magic. Licht puts the elves on the floor, which Asta comments about how Licht is the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun along with the sword in front of Licht. Suddenly Nero pops out of Asta's shirt and pecks Asta's head, which Asta wonders what Nero wants. Licht grabs the sword, and the sword is restored. Asta pulls out his Demon-Dwelling Sword, which Licht notices the sword. Yuno thinks about how Licht's sword is emitting incredible magic, while Asta thinks about how his black form is almost at its limit and for it to hang in their for a little longer. Yuno tells Asta to be careful, which Asta responds that he knows.

Suddenly Licht closes the distance, which Asta and Yuno both notices that they were not able to sense Licht.^[2] Licht grabs ahold of the Demon-dwelling sword and instantly restores it. Licht swings his sword twice, and sends both Asta and Yuno into the wall. Asta is wounded, and thinks about how strong Licht is. Asta also wonders what Licht is doing with his sword, and that he cannot move since his body is giving out. Rhya notices that Asta has reached his limit, which Mimosa thinks about how she wants to heal Asta but is out of mana. Yuno suddenly attacks with a spell but Licht easily manages to absorb it. Licht attacks, but misses both Asta and Yuno. As Rhya thinks about how this is the original ability of the Demon-Dwelling sword, Licht continues his assault. Yuno dodges Licht's assault and thinks about how Licht has adjusted his speed to his attacks. Yuno decides to use mana zone, to attack Licht from behind. Rhya notices that it's the same as Mereoleona, but Licht manages to absorb the spell. Mimosa is shocked by this, while Rhya thinks about what Yuno is capable of even through he has not awoken yet. Yuno thinks about how here is were Asta surpasses his limits, which Asta charges at Licht. Rhya is shocked that Asta is still able to move, and wonders who Asta and Yuno are since they can work together so well. Asta then proclaims that Yuno is his rival, while both Asta and Yuno attack Licht.^[3]
