May Update

It’s now less than 3 months to BiReCon 2014!

We’ve got some really exciting speakers and other sessions lined up and we’ll have the timetable ready very soon. For those who need to plan transport in the meantime, the day will start at 10am (with registration from 9.30) and finish at around 6pm.

As well as the usual papers and discussions, we’re happy to be hosting a workshop on Inclusion and Erasure of Bisexual People in the Workplace, Politics, and Activism – run by UNISON. We’ll also have community field reports from Bis of Colour, Bisexual Index, The Over 50s Group, and EuroBiNet. It’s still not too late to offer a field report if there’s something you’d like to tell us about.

We’ve been having some difficulty with our emails so if you’ve tried to contact us and we haven’t replied please get in touch again using the BiReCon2014@gmail.com or via the Twitter account at BiReCon2014.

Finally, we’re looking for a few people to chair some sessions. If that’s something you feel you’d like to do, please get in touch.

"Bi people make up the largest part of the LGBT community. Sadly ... their experiences are rarely represented or considered at all." Stonewall, UK.
