BiReCon 2014

BiReCon 2014 will take place at Leeds Trinity University on 31st July 2014.

BiReCon 2014 will focus on forging links between academics and communities. We will be including papers and panel discussions on academic research into bisexuality as well as ‘field reports’ from people running bi groups or other projects around the country. More details of this can be found in theFebruary conference update.

As in previous years, BiReCon is taking place immediately prior to BiCon, which is a weekend-long gathering for bisexual people and their allies. Attending BiReCon is free for BiCon attendees who have a weekend pass.

The cost of BiReCon for delegates not attending BiCon for the weekend is the same as the single day rate for BiCon. This is on a sliding scale dependant on income.

If you are booking for BiCon you can indicate on the booking form that you would also like to come to BiReCon. No separate registration is required. You can book for BiConhere. Residential bookings are now closed but you can still book for the weekend if you arrange your own accommodation or live locally.

Other delegates can register and pay by emailing BiReCon2014@gmail.com.

"Bi people make up the largest part of the LGBT community. Sadly ... their experiences are rarely represented or considered at all." Stonewall, UK.
