Moreover, happiness is not dependent on material wealth or earthly success. Jesus warns against the deceitfulness of riches inMatthew 6:19-21 , urging believers to store up treasures in heaven. The pursuit of godliness and contentment is emphasized in1 Timothy 6:6 : "Of course, godliness with contentment is great gain."

Eternal Perspective:
The Bible presents an eternal perspective on happiness, where ultimate joy and fulfillment are found in the hope of eternal life with God.Revelation 21:4 offers a vision of this future happiness: "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away."
