1Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,2"TakeAaronand his sonswith him, and the garmentsand the anointingoiland the bullof the sinoffering,and the tworamsand the basketof unleavenedbread,3and assembleallthe congregationat the doorwayof the tentof meeting."4So Mosesdidjustas the LORDcommandedhim. When the congregationwas assembledat the doorwayof the tentof meeting,5Mosessaidto the congregation,"Thisis the thingwhichthe LORDhas commandedto do."
6Then Moseshad Aaronand his sonscomenearand washedthem with water.7He putthe tunicon him and girdedhim with the sash,and clothedhim with the robeand putthe ephodon him; and he girdedhim with the artisticbandof the ephod,with which he tied[it] to him.8He then placedthe breastpieceon him, and in the breastpiecehe putthe Urimand the Thummim.9He also placedthe turbanon his head,and on the turban,at its front,he placedthe goldenplate,the holycrown,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
10Mosesthen tookthe anointingoiland anointedthe tabernacleand allthat was in it, and consecratedthem.11He sprinkledsomeof it on the altarseventimesand anointedthe altarand allits utensils,and the basinand its stand,to consecratethem.12Then he pouredsomeof the anointingoilon Aaron'sheadand anointedhim, to consecratehim.13Next Moseshad Aaron'ssonscomenearand clothedthem with tunics,and girdedthem with sashesand boundcapson them, justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
14Then he broughtthe bullof the sinoffering,and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handson the headof the bullof the sinoffering.15Next Mosesslaughtered[it] and tookthe bloodand with his fingerput[some of it] aroundon the hornsof the altar,and purifiedthe altar.Then he pouredout [the rest of] the bloodat the baseof the altarand consecratedit, to makeatonementfor it.16He also tookallthe fatthat was on the entrailsand the lobeof the liver,and the twokidneysand their fat;and Mosesofferedit up in smokeon the altar.17But the bulland its hideand its fleshand its refusehe burnedin the fireoutsidethe camp,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
18Then he presentedthe ramof the burntoffering,and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handson the headof the ram.19Mosesslaughtered[it] and sprinkledthe bloodaroundon the altar.20When he had cutthe raminto its pieces,Mosesofferedup the headand the piecesand the suetin smoke.21After he had washedthe entrailsand the legswith water,Mosesofferedup the wholeramin smokeon the altar.It was a burntofferingfor a soothingaroma;it was an offeringby fireto the LORD,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
22Then he presentedthe secondram,the ramof ordination,and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handson the headof the ram.23Mosesslaughtered[it] and tooksomeof its bloodand putit on the lobeof Aaron'srightear,and on the thumbof his righthandand on the bigtoeof his rightfoot.24He also had Aaron'ssonscomenear;and Mosesputsomeof the bloodon the lobeof their rightear,and on the thumbof their righthandand on the bigtoeof their rightfoot.Mosesthen sprinkled[the rest of] the bloodaroundon the altar.25He tookthe fat,and the fattail,and allthe fatthat was on the entrails,and the lobeof the liverand the twokidneysand their fatand the rightthigh.26From the basketof unleavenedbreadthat was beforethe LORD,he tookoneunleavenedcakeand onecakeof bread[mixed with] oiland onewafer,and placed[them] on the portionsof fatand on the rightthigh.27He then putall[these] on the handsof Aaronand on the handsof his sonsand presentedthem as a waveofferingbeforethe LORD.28Then Mosestookthem from their handsand offeredthem up in smokeon the altarwith the burntoffering.They were an ordinationofferingfor a soothingaroma;it was an offeringby fireto the LORD.29Mosesalso tookthe breastand presentedit for a waveofferingbeforethe LORD;it was Moses'portionof the ramof ordination,justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
30So Mosestooksomeof the anointingoiland someof the bloodwhichwas on the altarand sprinkledit on Aaron,on his garments,on his sons,and on the garmentsof his sonswith him; and he consecratedAaron,his garments,and his sons,and the garmentsof his sonswith him.
31Then Mosessaidto Aaronand to his sons,"Boilthe fleshat the doorwayof the tentof meeting,and eatit theretogether with the breadwhichis in the basketof the ordinationoffering,justas I commanded,saying,'Aaronand his sonsshall eatit.'32"The remainderof the fleshand of the breadyou shall burnin the fire.33"You shall not gooutsidethe doorwayof the tentof meetingfor sevendays,untilthe daythat the periodof your ordinationis fulfilled;for he will ordainyou through sevendays.34"The LORDhas commandedto doas has been donethisday,to makeatonementon your behalf.35"At the doorwayof the tentof meeting,moreover, you shall remaindayand nightfor sevendaysand keepthe chargeof the LORD,so that you will not die,for soI have been commanded."36Thus Aaronand his sonsdidallthe thingswhichthe LORDhad commandedthroughMoses.
