1Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,2"You shall also sayto the sonsof Israel:'Anymanfrom the sonsof Israelor from the alienssojourningin Israelwhogivesanyof his offspringto Molech,shall surelybe putto death;the peopleof the landshall stonehim with stones.3I will also setMy faceagainst that manand will cuthim offfrom amonghis people,becausehe has givensomeof his offspringto Molech,soas to defileMy sanctuaryand to profaneMy holyname.4Ifthe peopleof the land,however, should everdisregardthat manwhen he givesanyof his offspringto Molech,so as not to puthim to death,5then I Myselfwill setMy faceagainst that manand against his family,and I will cutofffrom amongtheir peopleboth him and allthose who playthe harlotafterhim, by playingthe harlotafterMolech.
6As for the personwhoturnsto mediumsand to spiritists,to playthe harlotafterthem, I will also setMy faceagainst that personand will cuthim offfrom amonghis people.7You shall consecrateyourselves therefore and be holy,for I am the LORDyour God.8You shall keepMy statutesand practicethem; I am the LORDwho sanctifiesyou.
9If[there is] anyonewhocurseshis fatheror his mother,he shall surelybe putto death;he has cursedhis fatheror his mother,his bloodguiltinessis upon him.
10If [there is] a manwhocommitsadulterywith another man'swife,one whocommitsadulterywith his friend'swife,the adultererand the adulteressshall surelybe putto death.11If [there is] a manwholieswith his father'swife,he has uncoveredhis father'snakedness;bothof them shall surelybe putto death,their bloodguiltinessis upon them.12If [there is] a manwholieswith his daughter-in-law,bothof them shall surelybe putto death;they have committedincest,their bloodguiltinessis upon them.13If [there is] a manwholieswith a maleas those who liewith a woman,bothof them have committeda detestableact;they shall surelybe putto death.Their bloodguiltinessis upon them.14If [there is] a manwhomarriesa womanand her mother,it is immorality;both he and they shall be burnedwith fire,so that there will be noimmoralityin your midst.15If [there is] a manwholieswith an animal,he shall surelybe putto death;you shall also killthe animal.16If [there is] a womanwhoapproachesanyanimalto matewith it, you shall killthe womanand the animal;they shall surelybe putto death.Their bloodguiltinessis upon them.
17If [there is] a manwhotakeshis sister,his father'sdaughterorhis mother'sdaughter,so that he seesher nakednessand she seeshis nakedness,it is a disgrace;and they shall be cutoffin the sightof the sonsof their people.He has uncoveredhis sister'snakedness;he bearshis guilt.18If [there is] a manwholieswith a menstruouswomanand uncoversher nakedness,he has laidbareher flow,and she has exposedthe flowof her blood;thus bothof them shall be cutofffrom amongtheir people.19You shall also not uncoverthe nakednessof your mother'ssisteror of your father'ssister,for such a one has madenakedhis bloodrelative;they will beartheir guilt.20If [there is] a manwholieswith his uncle'swifehe has uncoveredhis uncle'snakedness;they will beartheir sin.They will diechildless.21If [there is] a manwhotakeshis brother'swife,it is abhorrent;he has uncoveredhis brother'snakedness.They will be childless.
22You are therefore to keepallMy statutesand allMy ordinancesand dothem, so that the landto whichI am bringingyou to livewill not spewyou out.23Moreover, you shall not followthe customsof the nationwhichI will driveout beforeyou, for they didallthesethings,and therefore I have abhorredthem.24Hence I have saidto you, "You are to possesstheir land,and I Myselfwill giveit to you to possessit, a landflowingwith milkand honey."I am the LORDyour God,whohas separatedyou from the peoples.25You are therefore to makea distinctionbetweenthe cleananimaland the unclean,and betweenthe uncleanbirdand the clean;and you shall not makeyourselvesdetestableby animalor by birdor by anythingthat creepson the ground,whichI have separatedfor you as unclean.26Thus you are to be holyto Me, for I the LORDam holy;and I have setyou apartfrom the peoplesto be Mine.
27Now a manora womanwho is a mediumora spiritistshall surelybe putto death.They shall be stonedwith stones,their bloodguiltinessis upon them.'"
