1"And when you divideby lotthe landfor inheritance,you shall offeran allotmentto the LORD,a holyportionof the land;the lengthshall be the lengthof 25,000[cubits], and the widthshall be 20,000It shall be holywithin allits boundaryroundabout.2"Out of thisthere shall be for the holyplace a squareroundaboutfivehundredby fivehundred[cubits], and fiftycubitsfor its openspaceroundabout.3"From thisareayou shall measurea lengthof 25,000[cubits] and a widthof 10,000[cubits]; and in it shall be the sanctuary,the mostholyplace.4"It shall be the holyportionof the land;it shall be for the priests,the ministersof the sanctuary,who comenearto ministerto the LORD,and it shall be a placefor their housesand a holyplacefor the sanctuary.5"[An area] 25,000[cubits] in lengthand 10,000in widthshall be for the Levites,the ministersof the house,[and] for their possessioncities to dwell in.
6"You shall givethe citypossessionof [an area] 5,000[cubits] wideand 25,000[cubits] long,alongsidethe allotmentof the holyportion;it shall be for the wholehouseof Israel.
7"The princeshall have [land] on eithersideof the holyallotmentand the propertyof the city,adjacentto the holyallotmentand the propertyof the city,on the westsidetoward the westand on the eastsidetoward the east,and in lengthcomparableto oneof the portions,from the westborderto the eastborder.8"This shall be his landfor a possessionin Israel;so My princesshall nolongeroppressMy people,but they shall give[the rest of] the landto the houseof Israelaccording to their tribes."
9Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Enough,you princesof Israel;putawayviolenceand destruction,and practicejusticeand righteousness.Stopyour expropriationsfrom My people,"declaresthe LordGOD.
10"You shall havejustbalances,a justephahand a justbath.11"The ephahand the bathshall be the samequantity,so that the bathwill containa tenthof a homerand the ephaha tenthof a homer;their standardshall be accordingto the homer.12"The shekelshall be twentygerahs;twentyshekels,twenty-fiveshekels,[and] fifteenshekelsshall be your maneh.
13"Thisis the offeringthat you shall offer:a sixthof an ephahfrom a homerof wheat;a sixthof an ephahfrom a homerof barley;14and the prescribedportionof oil([namely], the bathof oil),a tenthof a bathfrom [each] kor([which is] tenbaths[or] a homer,for tenbathsare a homer);15and onesheepfrom [each] flockof two hundredfrom the wateringplacesof Israel--for a grain offering,for a burntofferingand for peaceofferings,to makeatonementfor them," declaresthe LordGOD.16"Allthe peopleof the landshall giveto thisofferingfor the princein Israel.17"It shall be the prince'spart[to provide] the burntofferings,the grain offeringsand the drinkofferings,at the feasts,on the newmoonsand on the sabbaths,at allthe appointedfeastsof the houseof Israel;he shall providethe sinoffering,the grain offering,the burntofferingand the peaceofferings,to makeatonementfor the houseof Israel."
18Thussaysthe LordGOD,"In the first[month], on the firstof the month,you shall takea youngbullwithoutblemishand cleansethe sanctuary.19"The priestshall takesomeof the bloodfrom the sinofferingand put[it] on the doorpostsof the house,on the fourcornersof the ledgeof the altarand on the postsof the gateof the innercourt.20"Thusyou shall doon the seventh[day] of the monthfor everyonewho goesastrayor is naive;so you shall makeatonementfor the house.
21"In the first[month], on the fourteenthdayof the month,you shall havethe Passover,a feastof sevendays;unleavenedbreadshall be eaten.22"On that daythe princeshall providefor himself and allthe peopleof the landa bullfor a sinoffering.23"[During] the sevendaysof the feasthe shall provideas a burntofferingto the LORDsevenbullsand sevenramswithoutblemishon everydayof the sevendays,and a malegoatdailyfor a sinoffering.24"He shall provideas a grain offeringan ephahwith a bull,an ephahwith a ramand a hinof oilwith an ephah.25"In the seventh[month], on the fifteenthdayof the month,at the feast,he shall providelike this,sevendaysfor the sinoffering,the burntoffering,the grain offeringand the oil."
