Trust in the Lord
My son, forgetnot my law;but let thine heartkeepmy commandments:
For lengthof days, and longlife, and peace, shall they addto thee.
Let not mercyand truthforsakethee: bindthem about thy neck;writethem upon the tableof thine heart:
So shalt thou findfavourand goodunderstandingin the sightof Godand man.
Trustin the LORDwith all thine heart;and leannot unto thine own understanding.
In all thy waysacknowledgehim, and he shall directthy paths.
Be not wisein thine own eyes:fearthe LORD,and departfrom evil.
It shall be healthto thy navel, and marrowto thy bones.
Honourthe LORDwith thy substance, and with the firstfruitsof all thine increase:
So shall thy barnsbe filledwith plenty, and thy pressesshall burst outwith new wine.
My son, despisenot the chasteningof the LORD;neither be wearyof his correction:
For whom the LORDlovethhe correcteth;even as a fatherthe son[in whom] he delighteth.
