Moses Consecrates Aaron and his Sons

(Exodus 29:1-9)

1And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,2TakeAaronand his sonswith him, and the garments,and the anointingoil,and a bullockfor the sin offering,and tworams,and a basketof unleavened bread;3And gatherthou all the congregationtogetherunto the doorof the tabernacleof the congregation.4And Mosesdidas the LORDcommandedhim; and the assemblywas gathered togetherunto the doorof the tabernacleof the congregation.5And Mosessaidunto the congregation,This [is] the thingwhich the LORDcommandedto be done.

6And MosesbroughtAaronand his sons,and washedthem with water.7And he putupon him the coat,and girdedhim with the girdle,and clothedhim with the robe,and putthe ephodupon him, and he girdedhim with the curious girdleof the ephod,and bound[it] unto him therewith.8And he putthe breastplateupon him: also he putin the breastplatethe Urimand the Thummim.9And he putthe mitreupon his head;also upon the mitre,[even] upon his forefront,did he putthe goldenplate,the holycrown;as the LORDcommandedMoses.

10And Mosestookthe anointingoil,and anointedthe tabernacleand all that [was] therein, and sanctifiedthem.11And he sprinkledthereof upon the altarseventimes,and anointedthe altarand all his vessels,both the laverand his foot,to sanctifythem.12And he pouredof the anointingoilupon Aaron'shead,and anointedhim, to sanctifyhim.13And MosesbroughtAaron'ssons,and putcoatsupon them, and girdedthem with girdles,and putbonnetsupon them; as the LORDcommandedMoses.

The Priests' Sin Offering

(Leviticus 16:11-14)

14And he broughtthe bullockfor the sin offering:and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handsupon the headof the bullockfor the sin offering.15And he slew[it]; and Mosestookthe blood,and put[it] upon the hornsof the altarround aboutwith his finger,and purifiedthe altar,and pouredthe bloodat the bottomof the altar,and sanctifiedit, to make reconciliationupon it.16And he tookall the fatthat [was] upon the inwards,and the caul[above] the liver,and the twokidneys,and their fat,and Mosesburned[it] upon the altar.17But the bullock,and his hide,his flesh,and his dung,he burntwith firewithoutthe camp;as the LORDcommandedMoses.

The Priests' Burnt Offering

(Exodus 38:1-7;Leviticus 1:1-17)

18And he broughtthe ramfor the burnt offering:and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handsupon the headof the ram.19And he killed[it]; and Mosessprinkledthe bloodupon the altarround about.20And he cutthe raminto pieces;and Mosesburntthe head,and the pieces,and the fat.21And he washedthe inwardsand the legsin water;and Mosesburntthe whole ramupon the altar:it [was] a burnt sacrificefor a sweetsavour,[and] an offering made by fireunto the LORD;as the LORDcommandedMoses.

The Ram of Consecration

(Exodus 29:10-30)

22And he broughtthe otherram,the ramof consecration:and Aaronand his sonslaidtheir handsupon the headof the ram.23And he slew[it]; and Mosestookof the bloodof it, and put[it] upon the tipof Aaron'srightear,and upon the thumbof his righthand,and upon the great toeof his rightfoot.24And he broughtAaron'ssons,and Mosesputof the bloodupon the tipof their rightear,and upon the thumbsof their righthands,and upon the great toesof their rightfeet:and Mosessprinkledthe bloodupon the altarround about.25And he tookthe fat,and the rump,and all the fatthat [was] upon the inwards,and the caul[above] the liver,and the twokidneys,and their fat,and the rightshoulder:26And out of the basketof unleavenedbread,that [was] beforethe LORD,he tookoneunleavenedcake,and a cakeof oiledbread, and onewafer,and put[them] on the fat,and upon the rightshoulder:27And he putall upon Aaron'shands,and upon his sons'hands,and wavedthem [for] a wave offeringbeforethe LORD.28And Mosestookthem from off their hands,and burnt[them] on the altarupon the burnt offering:they [were] consecrationsfor a sweetsavour:it [is] an offering made by fireunto the LORD.29And Mosestookthe breast,and wavedit [for] a wave offeringbeforethe LORD:[for] of the ramof consecrationit was Moses'part;as the LORDcommandedMoses.

30And Mosestookof the anointingoil,and of the bloodwhich [was] upon the altar,and sprinkled[it] upon Aaron,[and] upon his garments,and upon his sons,and upon his sons'garmentswith him; and sanctifiedAaron,[and] his garments,and his sons,and his sons'garmentswith him.

31And Mosessaidunto Aaronand to his sons,Boilthe flesh[at] the doorof the tabernacleof the congregation:and there eatit with the breadthat [is] in the basketof consecrations,as I commanded,saying,Aaronand his sonsshall eatit.32And that which remainethof the fleshand of the breadshall ye burnwith fire.33And ye shall not go outof the doorof the tabernacleof the congregation[in] sevendays,until the daysof your consecrationbe at an end:for sevendaysshall he consecrateyou.34As he hath donethis day,[so] the LORDhath commandedto do,to make an atonementfor you.35Therefore shall ye abide[at] the doorof the tabernacleof the congregationdayand nightsevendays,and keepthe chargeof the LORD,that ye dienot: for so I am commanded.36So Aaronand his sonsdidall thingswhich the LORDcommandedby the handof Moses.
