KJV + Strong's Restrictions against the Unclean 1And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,2Speakunto Aaronand to his sons,that they separatethemselves from the holy thingsof the childrenof Israel,and that they profanenot my holyname[in those things] which they hallowunto me: I [am] the LORD.3Sayunto them, Whosoever[he be] of all your seedamong your generations,that goethunto the holy things,which the childrenof Israelhallowunto the LORD,having his uncleannessupon him, that soulshall be cut offfrom my presence:I [am] the LORD.4What man soeverof the seedof Aaron[is] a leper,or hath a running issue;he shall not eatof the holy things,until he be clean.And whoso touchethany thing [that is] unclean[by] the dead,or a manwhose seedgoethfrom him;5Or whosoevertouchethany creeping thing,whereby he may be made unclean,or a manof whom he may take uncleanness,whatsoever uncleannesshe hath; Instructions for Cleansing 6The soulwhich hath touchedany such shall be uncleanuntil even,and shall not eatof the holy things,unlesshe washhis fleshwith water.7And when the sunis down,he shall be clean,and shall afterwardeatof the holy things;because it [is] his food.8That which dieth of itself,or is torn[with beasts], he shall not eatto defilehimself therewith: I [am] the LORD.9They shall therefore keepmine ordinance,lest they bearsinfor it, and dietherefore, if they profaneit: I the LORDdo sanctifythem. 10There shall no strangereat[of] the holy thing:a sojournerof the priest,or an hired servant,shall not eat[of] the holy thing.11But if the priestbuy[any] soulwithhis money,he shall eatof it, and he that is bornin his house:they shall eatof his meat.12If the priest'sdaughteralso be [married] unto a stranger,she may not eatof an offeringof the holy things.13But if the priest'sdaughterbe a widow,or divorced,and have no child,and is returnedunto her father'shouse,as in her youth,she shall eatof her father'smeat:but there shall no strangereatthereof.14And if a maneat[of] the holy thingunwittingly,then he shall putthe fifth[part] thereof unto it, and shall give[it] unto the priestwith the holy thing.15And they shall not profanethe holy thingsof the childrenof Israel,which they offerunto the LORD;16Or suffer them to bearthe iniquityof trespass,when they eattheir holy things:for I the LORDdo sanctifythem. (2 Corinthians 9:1-15) 17And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,18Speakunto Aaron,and to his sons,and unto all the childrenof Israel,and sayunto them, Whatsoever[he be] of the houseof Israel,or of the strangersin Israel,that will offerhis oblationfor all his vows,and for all his freewill offerings,which they will offerunto the LORDfor a burnt offering;19[Ye shall offer] at your own willa malewithout blemish,of the beeves,of the sheep,or of the goats.20[But] whatsoever hath a blemish,[that] shall ye not offer:for it shall not be acceptablefor you.21And whosoeverofferetha sacrificeof peace offeringsunto the LORDto accomplish[his] vow,or a freewill offeringin beevesor sheep,it shall be perfectto be accepted;there shall be no blemishtherein.22Blind,or broken,or maimed,or having a wen,or scurvy,or scabbed,ye shall not offerthese unto the LORD,nor makean offering by fireof them upon the altarunto the LORD.23Either a bullockor a lambthat hath any thing superfluousor lacking in his parts,that mayest thou offer[for] a freewill offering;but for a vowit shall not be accepted.24Ye shall not offerunto the LORDthat which is bruised,or crushed,or broken,or cut;neither shall ye make[any offering thereof] in your land.25Neither from a stranger'shandshall ye offerthe breadof your Godof any of these; because their corruption[is] in them, [and] blemishes[be] in them: they shall not be acceptedfor you. 26And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,27When a bullock,or a sheep,or a goat,is brought forth,then it shall be sevendaysunder the dam;and from the eighthdayand thenceforthit shall be acceptedfor an offeringmade by fireunto the LORD.28And [whether it be] cowor ewe,ye shall not killit and her youngboth in oneday.29And when ye will offera sacrificeof thanksgivingunto the LORD,offer[it] at your own will.30On the same dayit shall be eaten up;ye shall leavenone of it until the morrow:I [am] the LORD.31Therefore shall ye keepmy commandments,and dothem: I [am] the LORD. 32Neither shall ye profanemy holyname;but I will be hallowedamongthe childrenof Israel:I [am] the LORDwhich hallowyou,33That brought you outof the landof Egypt,to be your God:I [am] the LORD. |
