Paul's Greeting to the Galatians
(Ephesians 1:1-2)
1Paul,an apostle,(notofmen,neitherbyman,butbyJesusChrist,andGodthe Father,whoraisedhimfromthe dead;)2Andallthe brethrenwhich are withme,unto the churchesof Galatia:
3Grace[be] to youandpeacefromGodthe Father,and[from] ourLordJesusChrist,4Whogavehimselfforoursins,thathe might deliverusfromthis presentevilworld,accordingto the willof GodandourFather:5To whom[be] gloryforeverand ever.Amen.
No Other Gospel
6I marvelthatye aresosoonremovedfromhim that calledyouintothe graceof Christuntoanothergospel:7Whichisnotanother;but there besomethattroubleyou,andwouldpervertthe gospelof Christ.8Butthoughwe,oran angelfromheaven,preach any other gospelunto youthanthat whichwe have preachedunto you,let him beaccursed.9Aswe said before,sosay Inowagain,If any[man] preachany othergospelunto youthanthatye have received,let him beaccursed.
10Fordo Inowpersuademen,orGod?ordo I seekto pleasemen?forifIyetpleasedmen,I shouldnotbethe servantof Christ.
Paul Defends his Ministry
11ButI certifyyou,brethren,thatthe gospelwhichwas preachedofmeisnotafterman.12ForIneitherreceiveditofman,neitherwas I taught[it], butbythe revelationof JesusChrist.
13Forye have heardof myconversationin time pastinthe Jews' religion,how thatbeyondmeasureI persecutedthe churchof God,andwastedit:14Andprofitedinthe Jews' religionabovemanymy equalsinmine ownnation,beingmore exceedinglyzealousof the traditionsof myfathers.15Butwhenit pleasedGod,whoseparatedmefrommymother'swomb,andcalled[me] byhisgrace,16To revealhisSoninme,thatI might preachhimamongthe heathen;immediatelyI conferrednotwith fleshandblood:17Neitherwent I uptoJerusalemtothem which were apostlesbeforeme;butI wentintoArabia,andreturnedagainuntoDamascus.

18ThenafterthreeyearsI went uptoJerusalemto seePeter,andabodewithhimfifteendays.19Butotherof the apostlessaw Inone,saveJamesthe Lord'sbrother.20Nowthe things whichI writeunto you,behold,beforeGod,I lienot.21AfterwardsI cameintothe regionsof SyriaandCilicia;22Andwasunknownby faceunto the churchesof Judaeawhichwere inChrist:23Butthey hadheardonly,Thathe which persecutedusin times pastnowpreacheththe faithwhichoncehe destroyed.24Andthey glorifiedGodinme.
