Hosea Redeems his Wife
(Zechariah 2:6-13)
1Then saidthe LORDunto me, Goyet, lovea womanbelovedof [her] friend,yet an adulteress,according to the loveof the LORDtoward the childrenof Israel,who lookto othergods,and loveflagonsof wine.2So I boughther to me for fifteen[pieces] of silver,and [for] an homerof barley,and an half homerof barley:3And I saidunto her, Thou shalt abidefor me manydays;thou shalt not play the harlot,and thou shalt not befor [another] man:so [will] I also [be] for thee.4For the childrenof Israelshall abidemanydayswithout a king,and without a prince,and without a sacrifice,and without an image,and without an ephod,and [without] teraphim:5Afterwardshall the childrenof Israelreturn,and seekthe LORDtheir God,and Davidtheir king;and shall fearthe LORDand his goodnessin the latterdays.
