The Descendants of Adam

1This[is] the bookof the generationsof Adam.In the daythat Godcreatedman,in the likenessof Godmadehe him;2Maleand femalecreatedhe them; and blessedthem, and calledtheir nameAdam,in the daywhen they were created.
3And Adamlivedan hundredand thirtyyears,and begat[a son] in his own likeness,after his image;and calledhis nameSeth:4And the daysof Adamafterhe had begottenSethwere eighthundredyears:and he begatsonsand daughters:5And all the daysthat Adamlivedwere ninehundredand thirtyyears:and he died.
6And Sethlivedan hundredand fiveyears,and begatEnos:7And Sethlivedafterhe begatEnoseighthundredand sevenyears,and begatsonsand daughters:8And all the daysof Sethwere ninehundredand twelveyears:and he died.
9And Enoslivedninetyyears,and begatCainan:10And Enoslivedafterhe begatCainaneighthundredand fifteenyears,and begatsonsand daughters:11And all the daysof Enoswere ninehundredand fiveyears:and he died.
12And Cainanlivedseventyyears,and begatMahalaleel:13And Cainanlivedafterhe begatMahalaleeleighthundredand fortyyears,and begatsonsand daughters:14And all the daysof Cainanwere ninehundredand tenyears:and he died.
15And Mahalaleellivedsixtyand fiveyears,and begatJared:16And Mahalaleellivedafterhe begatJaredeighthundredand thirtyyears,and begatsonsand daughters:17And all the daysof Mahalaleelwere eighthundredninetyand fiveyears:and he died.
God Takes Up Enoch
18And Jaredlivedan hundredsixtyand twoyears,and he begatEnoch:19And Jaredlivedafterhe begatEnocheighthundredyears,and begatsonsand daughters:20And all the daysof Jaredwere ninehundredsixtyand twoyears:and he died.
21And Enochlivedsixtyand fiveyears,and begatMethuselah:22And EnochwalkedwithGodafterhe begatMethuselahthreehundredyears,and begatsonsand daughters:23And all the daysof Enochwere threehundredsixtyand fiveyears:24And Enochwalkedwith God:and he [was] not; for Godtookhim.
From Methuselah to Noah
25And Methuselahlivedan hundredeightyand sevenyears,and begatLamech:26And Methuselahlivedafterhe begatLamechsevenhundredeightyand twoyears,and begatsonsand daughters:27And all the daysof Methuselahwere ninehundredsixtyand nineyears:and he died.
28And Lamechlivedan hundredeightyand twoyears,and begata son:29And he calledhis nameNoah,saying,This [same] shall comfortus concerning our workand toilof our hands,becauseof the groundwhich the LORDhath cursed.30And Lamechlivedafterhe begatNoahfivehundredninetyand fiveyears,and begatsonsand daughters:31And all the daysof Lamechwere sevenhundredseventyand sevenyears:and he died.
32And Noahwas fivehundredyearsold:and NoahbegatShem,Ham,and Japheth.
