And he said,The childrenwhich Godhath graciously giventhy servant.6Then the handmaidenscame near,they and their children,and they bowed themselves.7And Leahalso with her childrencame near,and bowed themselves:and aftercameJosephnearand Rachel,and they bowedthemselves.8And he said,What [meanest] thou by all this drovewhich I met?And he said,[These are] to findgracein the sightof my lord.9And Esausaid,I haveenough,my brother;keep that thou hast unto thyself.10And Jacobsaid,Nay, I pray thee, if now I have foundgracein thy sight,then receivemy presentat my hand:for therefore I have seenthy face,as though I had seenthe faceof God,and thou wast pleased with me.11Take,I pray thee, my blessingthat is broughtto thee; because Godhath dealt graciously with me,and becauseI haveenough.And he urgedhim, and he took[it]. 12And he said,Let us take our journey,and let us go,and I will gobefore thee.13And he saidunto him, My lordknoweththat the children[are] tender,and the flocksand herdswith young[are] with me: and if men should overdrivethem oneday,all the flockwill die.14Let my lord,I pray thee, pass overbeforehis servant:and I will lead onsoftly,according asthe cattlethat goeth before meand the childrenbe able to endure,until I comeunto my lordunto Seir. 15And Esausaid,Let me now leavewith thee [some] of the folkthat [are] with me. And he said,Whatneedeth it? let me findgracein the sightof my lord.16So Esaureturnedthat dayon his wayunto Seir.17And Jacobjourneyedto Succoth,and builthim an house,and madeboothsfor his cattle:therefore the nameof the placeis calledSuccoth.
