KJV + Strong's The Fifth Plague: Livestock 1Then the LORDsaidunto Moses,Goin unto Pharaoh,and tellhim, Thus saiththe LORDGodof the Hebrews,Let my peoplego,that they may serveme.2For if thou refuseto let [them] go,and wilt holdthem still,3Behold, the handof the LORDisupon thy cattlewhich [is] in the field,upon the horses,upon the asses,upon the camels,upon the oxen,and upon the sheep:[there shall be] a verygrievousmurrain.4And the LORDshall severbetween the cattleof Israeland the cattleof Egypt:and there shall nothingdieof all [that is] the children'sof Israel.5And the LORDappointeda set time,saying,To morrowthe LORDshall dothis thingin the land.6And the LORDdidthat thingon the morrow,and all the cattleof Egyptdied:but of the cattleof the childrenof Israeldiednot one.7And Pharaohsent,and, behold, there was not oneof the cattleof the Israelitesdead.And the heartof Pharaohwas hardened,and he did not let the peoplego. The Sixth Plague: Boils 8And the LORDsaidunto Mosesand unto Aaron,Taketo you handfulsof ashesof the furnace,and let Mosessprinkleit toward the heavenin the sightof Pharaoh.9And it shall become small dustin all the landof Egypt,and shall be a boilbreaking forth[with] blainsupon man,and upon beast,throughout all the landof Egypt.10And they tookashesof the furnace,and stoodbeforePharaoh;and Mosessprinkledit up toward heaven;and it became a boilbreaking forth[with] blainsupon man,and upon beast.11And the magicianscouldnot standbeforeMosesbecauseof the boils;for the boilwas upon the magicians,and upon all the Egyptians.12And the LORDhardenedthe heartof Pharaoh,and he hearkenednot unto them; as the LORDhad spokenunto Moses. The Seventh Plague: Hail 13And the LORDsaidunto Moses,Rise up earlyin the morning,and standbeforePharaoh,and sayunto him, Thus saiththe LORDGodof the Hebrews,Let my peoplego,that they may serveme.14For I will at this timesendall my plaguesupon thine heart,and upon thy servants,and upon thy people;that thou mayest knowthat [there is] none like me in all the earth.15For now I will stretch outmy hand,that I may smitethee and thy peoplewith pestilence;and thou shalt be cut offfrom the earth.16And in verydeedfor this [cause] have I raised thee up,for to shew[in] thee my power;and that my namemay be declaredthroughout all the earth.17As yet exaltestthou thyself against my people,that thou wilt not let them go? 18Behold, to morrowabout this timeI will cause it to raina verygrievoushail,such as hath not beenin Egyptsincethe foundationthereof even until now.19Sendtherefore now, [and] gatherthy cattle,and all that thou hast in the field;[for upon] every manand beastwhich shall be foundin the field,and shall not be broughthome,the hailshall come downupon them, and they shall die.20He that fearedthe wordof the LORDamong the servantsof Pharaohmade his servantsand his cattlefleeinto the houses:21And he that regardednot the wordof the LORDlefthis servantsand his cattlein the field. 22And the LORDsaidunto Moses,Stretch forththine handtoward heaven,that there may be hailin all the landof Egypt,upon man,and upon beast,and upon every herbof the field,throughout the landof Egypt.23And Mosesstretched forthhis rodtoward heaven:and the LORDsentthunderand hail,and the fireran alongupon the ground;and the LORDrainedhailupon the landof Egypt.24So there was hail,and firemingledwith the hail,verygrievous,such as there was nonelike it in all the landof Egyptsince it became a nation.25And the hailsmotethroughout all the landof Egyptall that [was] in the field,both manand beast;and the hailsmoteevery herbof the field,and brakeevery treeof the field.26Only in the landof Goshen,where the childrenof Israel[were], was there no hail. 27And Pharaohsent,and calledfor Mosesand Aaron,and saidunto them, I have sinnedthis time:the LORD[is] righteous,and I and my people[are] wicked.28Intreatthe LORD(for [it is] enough) that there be no [more] mightythunderingsand hail;and I will let you go,and ye shall stayno longer.29And Mosessaidunto him, As soon as I am gone outof the city,I will spread abroadmy handsunto the LORD;[and] the thundershall cease,neither shall there be any more hail;that thou mayest knowhow that the earth[is] the LORD'S.30But as for thee and thy servants,I knowthat ye will not yet fearthe LORDGod.31And the flaxand the barleywas smitten:for the barley[was] in the ear,and the flax[was] bolled.32But the wheatand the riewere not smitten:for they[were] not grown up.33And Moseswent outof the cityfrom Pharaoh,and spread abroadhis handsunto the LORD:and the thundersand hailceased,and the rainwas not pouredupon the earth.34And when Pharaohsawthat the rainand the hailand the thunderswere ceased,he sinnedyet more,and hardenedhis heart,he and his servants.35And the heartof Pharaohwas hardened,neither would he let the childrenof Israelgo;as the LORDhad spokenbyMoses. |
