KJV + Strong's God Promises Deliverance 1Then the LORDsaidunto Moses,Now shalt thou seewhat I will doto Pharaoh:for with a stronghandshall he let them go,and with a stronghandshall he drive them outof his land. 2And Godspakeunto Moses,and saidunto him, I [am] the LORD:3And I appearedunto Abraham,unto Isaac,and unto Jacob,by [the name of] GodAlmighty,but by my nameJEHOVAHwas I not knownto them.4And I have also establishedmy covenantwith them, to givethem the landof Canaan,the landof their pilgrimage,wherein they were strangers.5And I have also heardthe groaningof the childrenof Israel,whomthe Egyptianskeep in bondage;and I have rememberedmy covenant.6Whereforesayunto the childrenof Israel,I [am] the LORD,and I will bringyou out from under the burdensof the Egyptians,and I will ridyou out of their bondage,and I will redeemyou with a stretchedout arm,and with greatjudgments:7And I will takeyou to me for a people,and I will be to you a God:and ye shall knowthat I [am] the LORDyour God,which bringethyou out from under the burdensof the Egyptians.8And I will bringyou in unto the land,concerning the which I did swearto giveit to Abraham,to Isaac,and to Jacob;and I will giveit you for an heritage:I [am] the LORD.9And Mosesspakeso unto the childrenof Israel:but they hearkenednot unto Mosesfor anguishof spirit,and for cruelbondage. Moses and Aaron Sent to Pharaoh 10And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,11Goin, speakunto Pharaohkingof Egypt,that he let the childrenof Israelgo outof his land.12And Mosesspakebeforethe LORD,saying,Behold, the childrenof Israelhave not hearkenedunto me; how then shall Pharaohhearme,who [am] of uncircumcisedlips? Genealogies of Moses and Aaron 13And the LORDspakeunto Mosesand unto Aaron,and gave them a chargeunto the childrenof Israel,and unto Pharaohkingof Egypt,to bringthe childrenof Israelout of the landof Egypt. 14These [be] the headsof their fathers'houses:The sonsof Reubenthe firstbornof Israel;Hanoch,and Pallu,Hezron,and Carmi:these [be] the familiesof Reuben.15And the sonsof Simeon;Jemuel,and Jamin,and Ohad,and Jachin,and Zohar,and Shaulthe sonof a Canaanitish woman:these [are] the familiesof Simeon.16And these [are] the namesof the sonsof Leviaccording to their generations;Gershon,and Kohath,and Merari:and the yearsof the lifeof Levi[were] an hundredthirtyand sevenyears.17The sonsof Gershon;Libni,and Shimi,according to their families.18And the sonsof Kohath;Amram,and Izhar,and Hebron,and Uzziel:and the yearsof the lifeof Kohath[were] an hundredthirtyand threeyears.19And the sonsof Merari;Mahaliand Mushi:these [are] the familiesof Leviaccording to their generations.20And Amramtookhim Jochebedhis father's sisterto wife;and she barehim Aaronand Moses:and the yearsof the lifeof Amram[were] an hundredand thirtyand sevenyears.21And the sonsof Izhar;Korah,and Nepheg,and Zichri.22And the sonsof Uzziel;Mishael,and Elzaphan,and Zithri.23And Aarontookhim Elisheba,daughterof Amminadab,sisterof Naashon,to wife;and she barehim Nadab,and Abihu,Eleazar,and Ithamar.24And the sonsof Korah;Assir,and Elkanah,and Abiasaph:these [are] the familiesof the Korhites.25And EleazarAaron'ssontookhim [one] of the daughtersof Putielto wife;and she barehim Phinehas:these [are] the headsof the fathersof the Levitesaccording to their families. Moses and Aaron's Story Recounted 26These[are] that Aaronand Moses,to whomthe LORDsaid,Bring outthe childrenof Israelfrom the landof Egyptaccording to their armies.27These[are] they which spaketo Pharaohkingof Egypt,to bring outthe childrenof Israelfrom Egypt:these [are] that Mosesand Aaron. 28And it came to pass on the day[when] the LORDspakeunto Mosesin the landof Egypt,29That the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,I [am] the LORD:speakthou unto Pharaohkingof Egyptall that I sayunto thee.30And Mosessaidbeforethe LORD,Behold, I [am] of uncircumcisedlips,and how shall Pharaohhearkenunto me? |
