The Bronze Altar
1And thou shalt makean altar[of] shittimwood,fivecubitslong,and fivecubitsbroad;the altarshall be foursquare:and the heightthereof [shall be] threecubits.2And thou shalt makethe hornsof it upon the fourcornersthereof: his hornsshall be of the same: and thou shalt overlayit with brass.3And thou shalt makehis pansto receive his ashes,and his shovels,and his basons,and his fleshhooks,and his firepans:all the vesselsthereof thou shalt make[of] brass.4And thou shalt makefor it a grateof network[of] brass;and upon the netshalt thou makefourbrasenringsin the fourcornersthereof.5And thou shalt putit under the compassof the altarbeneath,that the netmay be even tothe midstof the altar.6And thou shalt makestavesfor the altar,staves[of] shittimwood,and overlaythem with brass.7And the stavesshall be putinto the rings,and the stavesshall be upon the twosidesof the altar,to bearit.8Hollowwith boardsshalt thou makeit: as it was shewedthee in the mount,so shall they make[it].
The Courtyard
9And thou shalt makethe courtof the tabernacle:for the southsidesouthward[there shall be] hangingsfor the court[of] fine twinedlinenof an hundredcubitslongfor oneside:10And the twentypillarsthereof and their twentysockets[shall be of] brass;the hooksof the pillarsand their fillets[shall be of] silver.11And likewise for the northsidein length[there shall be] hangingsof an hundred[cubits] long,and his twentypillarsand their twentysockets[of] brass;the hooksof the pillarsand their fillets[of] silver.12And [for] the breadthof the courton the westside[shall be] hangingsof fiftycubits:their pillarsten,and their socketsten.13And the breadthof the courton the eastsideeastward[shall be] fiftycubits.14The hangingsof one side[of the gate shall be] fifteencubits:their pillarsthree,and their socketsthree.15And on the otherside[shall be] hangingsfifteen[cubits]: their pillarsthree,and their socketsthree.16And for the gateof the court[shall be] an hangingof twentycubits,[of] blue,and purple,and scarlet,and fine twinedlinen,wrought with needlework:[and] their pillars[shall be] four,and their socketsfour.17All the pillarsround aboutthe court[shall be] filletedwith silver;their hooks[shall be of] silver,and their sockets[of] brass.18The lengthof the court[shall be] an hundredcubits,and the breadthfiftyevery where,and the heightfivecubits[of] fine twinedlinen,and their sockets[of] brass.19All the vesselsof the tabernaclein all the servicethereof, and all the pinsthereof, and all the pinsof the court,[shall be of] brass.
The Oil for the Lamps
(Leviticus 24:1-4)
20And thou shalt commandthe childrenof Israel,that they bringthee pureoilolivebeatenfor the light,to cause the lampto burnalways.21In the tabernacleof the congregationwithoutthe vail,which [is] before the testimony,Aaronand his sonsshall orderit from eveningto morningbeforethe LORD:[it shall be] a statutefor everunto their generationson the behalf of the childrenof Israel.
