2 Chronicles 30:27 captures a moment where purified leaders stood, spoke blessing, and were instantly heard. The verse teaches that faithful service, spoken blessing, and sincere prayer unite earth and heaven. When God’s people walk in obedience, their voices reach His heavenly throne, and He responds with favor.

And their voice was heard.--The priestly blessing was a prayer that Jehovah would bless. (SeeNumbers 6:22-27.) That the prayer was heard on the present occasion, the writer infers from the progress of reform among the people, and the wonderful deliverance from Assyria, as related in the ensuing chapters.

Their prayer came up.--Entered into His holy dwelling (comp.Isaiah 18:6)into the heavens. Notice the characteristic omission of the sacred Name.
