Whatever form our speech takes, God has already equipped us to communicate truth clearly and graciously (Colossians 4:6).

The enrichment also covers understanding—insight into God’s Word, discernment, wisdom for daily choices. • Paul prays that believers “may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom” (Colossians 1:9). • “Now we have received… the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us” (1 Corinthians 2:12). •Ephesians 1:17-18 ties knowledge to a heart enlightened by the Spirit. The promise is not omniscience but sufficient, Spirit-taught insight to live faithfully.

1 Corinthians 1:5 assures every believer that, by virtue of being “in Him,” we already possess a rich treasury of grace. God has fully supplied:

• the source—Christ Himself;

• the status—already enriched;

• the scope—every area of life;

• the speech—ability to declare truth;

• the sense—Spirit-given understanding.

With these resources, the church can glorify the Lord and serve one another without lack.
