An enhanced remake titled Rayman Revolution (Rayman 2: Revolution in North America) was developed by Ubi Soft Annecy for the PlayStation 2.

An alternative remake known as Rayman 2 Forever was developed by Ubi Soft Milan for the Game Boy Color.
