Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade coach landed amid chants, songs, and banners, sending a clear message: the fans do not accept his resignation.

Obradovic appeared, and the crowd erupted as he made his way through with the help of security.

Despite the overwhelming reception, the legendary coach did not immediately announce any change of mind.

Fans began gathering more than an hour before the flight landed, creating an atmosphere more reminiscent of a championship celebration than an airport arrival. Flight tracking data showed that over 10,000 people were following the Athens flight live.

Supporters held banners reading “Zeljko stay” and “Contract for Zeljko,” while some directed criticism at club president Ostoja Mijailovic,Mozzart Sport reports.

Earlier in the day, Partizan’s Executive and Management Boards held a meeting focused solely on Obradovic, unanimouslyrejecting his resignation.

Players, including Aleksej Pokusevski and captain Vanja Marinkovic, have also voiced their support, urging him to continue leading the team.

Marinkovic personally told Obradovic he wants to see him at training on Saturday, the first session since the Panathinaikos game.
