The 1.97 m guard spent four seasons playing for the Seton Hall Griffins in NCAA. Then, he played his first professional season in the second German Basketball League before going up to the premier division.

Last year, Taylor was a member of the Hamburg Towers. He played 27 games in the German League, averaging 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.7 steals, and 16.6 EFF over 28.6 minutes.
