Biography
Yvonne Hayes Hinson was born and lives in Gainesville, Florida. Hinson earned a B.A. and M.A. in education from the University of Florida in 1971 and 1972, respectively. Her career experience includes working as an educator. Hinson has served as the president of the University of Florida Black Alumni Association, the membership chair of the Alachua County Democratic Executive Committee, and the finance chair of the Gainesville Housing Authority Governing Board.[1]
