Woodie Salmon
Woodie Salmon is a formerDemocratic member of theAlaska House of Representatives, representing the 6th District from 2005 to 2011. He previously served as council member and mayor of Fort Yukon.
Biography
Salmon's professional experience includes working as a pilot and in pipeline construction, operations and maintenance in the oil business. He served on the board of the Interior Regional Housing Authority.[1]

Salmon ran in the2012 election forAlaska House of Representatives District 39. He was defeated by incumbentNeal W. Foster in the Democratic primary on August 28, 2012.[3][4]

2010
Salmon lost his re-election bid to the 6th District Seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the August 24 primary. He was defeated byAlan Dick in the November 2 general election.

2008
In 2008, Salmon was re-elected to the Alaska House of Representatives District 6. Salmon (D) finished with 3,303 votes while his opponent War Sattler (R) finished with 2,847 votes.[5] Salmon raised $34,942 for his campaign fund.[6]
