William Drayton
William Drayton was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He was nominated by PresidentGeorge Washington on February 8, 1790. He was confirmed by the Senate onFebruary 10, 1790, and received commission that same day. He served until his death onMay 18, 1790.[1] Drayton was succeeded in this position byThomas Bee.
