William Copple
William Perry Copple (1916-2000) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Arizona.
Copple was nominated by PresidentLyndon Johnson on September 30, 1966, to a new seat created by 80 Stat. 75; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission onNovember 3, 1966. He assumedsenior status onNovember 30, 1983. He served the District of Arizona until his death onSeptember 14, 2000. Copple was succeeded in this position byPaul Rosenblatt.
