William Benson Bryant (1911-2005) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Bryant was nominated by PresidentLyndon Johnson on July 12, 1965, to a seat vacated byDavid Pine; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1965, and received commissionthat same day. He served aschief judge from 1977-1981. He assumedsenior status onJanuary 31, 1982, and served in that capacity until his death onNovember 13, 2005.[1]
