Trish La Chica (Democratic Party) is a member of theHawaii House of Representatives, representingDistrict 37. She assumed office on February 21, 2023. Her current term ends on November 3, 2026.
La Chica (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to theHawaii House of Representatives to representDistrict 37. She won in the general election onNovember 5, 2024.
Gov.Joshua Green (D) appointed La Chica to replace former Rep.Ryan Yamane (D).[1]
Biography
Trish La Chica was born in Manila, Philippines. La Chica earned a B.A. in communications from Ateneo de Manila University in 2007 and an M.P.A. from the University of San Francisco in 2014. Her career experience includes working as the executive director of the City and County of Honolulu Office of Housing, a community and government relations manager with AlohaCare, and the policy and advocacy director of the Hawai'i Public Health Institute.[2][3]
