Three candidates seek County court position

Oswego County,New York: Three candidates will seek a position on theOswego County Court in the fall of 2010. Candidates include:David Hawthorne, an attorney;Thom Benedetto, a court attorney and referee for theFifth Judicial District; andDonald Todd, the Oswego County District Attorney. A primary race will be held in September. The top candidates from each party will continue on to the November general election. The winner will replace interim JudgeDavid J. Roman, who is filling the vacancy left by JudgeJames McCarthy's promotion to theNew York Supreme Court, 5th District.[1]
