Thomas Goode Jones (Alabama)
Thomas Goode Jones (1844-1914) was afederal judge on the United States District Court for theNorthern andMiddle Districts of Alabama.
He was nominated by PresidentTheodore Roosevelt on October 7, 1901 to a seat vacated byJohn Bruce. On December 5th of the same year, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate onDecember 17, 1901 and received commission that same day. He served until his death onApril 28, 1914. Jones was succeeded in this position byHenry De Lamar Clayton.
