I am committed to saving Missouri's crumbling infrastructure. I will work to expand workforce development including job training and business growth. I will be a strong supporter of public education and want to work to continue fully funding the foundation formula for K-12 education. A married man of 40 years and proud father of two, I stand for family values. I am a former small business owner and 40-year community banker in Lafayette County.
  • Saving Missouri's crumbling infrastructure is an issue we can work across the aisle to get done now.
  • Supporting families and local business is paramount. We must keep taxes low so our economy can be rebuilt.
  • Education is the backbone of an economy. I will support quality education for all students.
I am passionate about helping our struggling Missouri families and rebuilding our state infrastructure. Local businesses should have our support, not be bogged down with endless burdensome regulations. We can fight COVID and strengthen our economy at the same time; it's not an "either-or" situation. I am determined to keep taxes low and our employment high. We should be investing in our children so they can inherit a better tomorrow. They key way we do this is by giving them the tools they need to be contributing members of society. That's why I am so passionate about funding education. When families succeed, Missouri succeeds.

Scorecards

See also:State legislative scorecards andState legislative scorecards in Missouri

Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
