Ted Dunlap was theLibertarian candidate forgovernor of Montana in the2016 election. He was defeated by incumbentSteve Bullock (D) in the general election on November 8, 2016.

He was also the 2010 Libertarian candidate forgovernor of Idaho. He previously ran for governor in 2006, and was a candidate for theIdaho House of Representatives in 2004 and 2002. Dunlap has served as Executive Director, Chairman and Editor for the Libertarian Party of Idaho.

Dunlap attended Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College. He has worked as a Supervisor for the Hewlett Packard Corporation, Chief Executive Operator of Soil Food Corporation, a Technician with Sonoma Water Engineering, and Owner/Operator of The Gentleman Farmer.[1]
