Ted Dalton
Ted Dalton (1901-1989) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.[1]
Dalton was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on July 21, 1959, to a seat vacated byJohn Paul, Jr.; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 12, 1959, and received his commission onAugust 13th. He served aschief judge from 1960-1971. He assumedsenior status onOctober 12, 1976, and served in that capacity until his death onOctober 30, 1989.[1] Dalton was succeeded in this position byGlen M. Williams.
