Susan Getzendanner
Susan Christine O'Meara Getzendanner (1939-present) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Getzendanner was nominated by PresidentJimmy Carter on June 4, 1980, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; she was confirmed by the Senate on September 29, 1980, and received commissionthe next day. She served the Northern District of Illinois until her resignation onSeptember 30, 1987.[1] Getzendanner was succeeded in this position byGeorge Marovich.
