Sue Allen
Sue Allen is a formerRepublican member of theMissouri House of Representatives, representing District 100 from 2009 to 2017. She previously served asState House Majority Caucus Secretary.
Allen did not seek re-election to theMissouri House of Representatives in2016 because she was term-limited.
Biography
Allen earned her B.S. from the University of Missouri, and M.S. in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. Her professional experience includes working as the co-owner of First Steps Pediatrics, Clinical Instructor in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University, teacher of Army GED classes, and Clinical Instructor in Physical Therapy at Washington University.[1]

Issues
No New Taxes Pledge
A minority of Missouri lawmakers signed the 2011 edition of the "No New Taxes Pledge." The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is offered by the nonprofit lobbying organizationAmericans for Tax Reform with the goal of opposing all tax increases as a matter of principle. Just one out of 34 state Senate members signed the 2011 pledge. Out of 163 state House members, only 38 lawmakers signed.
Allen signed the pledge.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Allen ran for District 92 of theMissouri House of Representatives, beating Ronica Herman and Donald Griffin.[11]
