Biography
Sonja Brookins was born inTampa, Florida. Brookins earned a bachelor's degree from Austin Peay State University in 1992 and a graduate degree from Prairie View A&M University in 1995. She also graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1997. Her career experience includes working as a professor. Brookins has been affiliated with LEADS, Guardian Ad Litem, the Democratic Caucus, and the Healthcare Advisory Board.[1]
