My name is Sylvester Karasinski and I am a candidate for State Senate in District Ten. Most people call me Sly and it would be my honor to serve you. I am a life-long Republican, Conservative, NRA Member, and love New Hampshire. I have been a small business owner, Fire Chief/EMT-I, and now the Superintendent of the North Swanzey Water Precinct.

Anne and I moved to Cheshire County and started our family in 1989. We chose the Monadnock Region to raise our children and volunteer to serve the community. I have been active in the Fire Department, Civic Groups, and now Town government as a third-term Selectman in Swanzey.Swanzey has successfully built and maintained infrastructure, while keeping our taxes low by obtaining grants and low interest bonds. We have partnered with local businesses, even converting a Town facility to a much needed daycare center. Swanzey is thriving, all of Cheshire County can too.We need to continue to grow the economy, balance the budget, and return the surplus back to the Towns after funding the Rainy Day Fund. More rain is coming. New Hampshire is suffering from the poor decisions made in Washington DC. Recession, Inflationary Spending, Energy Costs, and the Border Crisis are issues that are not our fault, but we will have to deal with it.

Let’s Keep New Hampshire, New Hampshire!

  • I oppose any Income Tax, Sales Tax, or Interest and Dividends Tax. Onerous Regulations will be repealed. I will propose sunset provisions to spending bills.
  • I will fight for Parental Rights and School Choice. I support Education Freedom Accounts, and oppose the teaching of Critical Race Theory.
  • I support the Police, Accountability, and the Law. The Right to Self-Defense and Our Second Amendment Rights Shall Not Be Infringed.
Let’s Keep New Hampshire, New Hampshire! The New Hampshire Advantage is what makes us special. People come here looking for freedom from onerous taxes and regulations.

We need to keep taxes low while still funding our needs.
We need to have school choice and parental rights, local funding of education gives us local control.
We need law and order, bail reform, and accountability to keep our families safe.

We must have local control of our land use regulations.

Scorecards

Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
