Biography
Sheikh Rahman was born in Bangladesh and earned a bachelor's degree in economics and global studies from the University of Georgia in 1995. Rahman's career experience includes working as a corporate executive with Pizza Hut. He served as a member of the NAACP, the National Action Network, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the national advisor of the Alliance for South Asian American Labor. Rahman was elected to state senate in 2019.[1]
