Samuel H. West (1872-1938) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

West was nominated by PresidentCalvin Coolidge on December 10, 1928, to a seat vacated byDavid Westenhaver; he was confirmed by the Senate onDecember 17, 1928, and received commission that same day. He served until his death onOctober 5, 1938.[1] West was succeeded in this position byRobert Wilkin.
