Ronnie Abrams
Ronnie Abrams is a judge on theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She joined the court in 2012 after a nomination fromBarack Obama. At the time of nomination, Abrams worked as special counsel for pro bono atDavis Polk & Wardwell LLP.[1][2]

Abrams received her B.A. in1990 from Cornell University and herJ.D. in1993 from Yale Law School.[3][1]

Abrams was nominated to theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of New York byPresident Obama onJuly 28, 2011.[2] Obama commented on the nomination:

On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Ronnie Abrams was confirmed by the United StatesSenate to theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of New York with a vote of 96-2.[6]
